SEMARK & WALLER in association with THE GILDED BALLOON present

"Viv & Fizz"

A new comedy about optimism and pessimism.

Vivien Harcourt and Fizz Weatherall share a flat. That’s about all. Fizz likes funfairs; Viv prefers graveyards.

Fizz has her heart set on the West End; Viv wants nothing less than the Man Booker prize for fiction. But their approaches are very different. For Viv life is a hard and bitter nut that will probably break her teeth; for Fizz it's a free chocolate egg with a toy inside.

A very unlikely friendship. And some surprising trips back in time! Original. Captivating. Damn funny.

Members of The Undersigned guest in The Spontaneity Shop's new show

Coming Ready or Not

"The Ealing film studios, home of the Ealing comedies, are now home to a new generation of extraordinary comic talent.
The Spontaneity Shop is ready to explode on stage in this anarchic new show where absolutely anything can happen. Their house band will underscore the chaos. Their MC will keep order among the improvisers and the audience. More fun than any show you've ever been to, this completely new concept in comedy puts the improvisers on the spot, creates amazing characters, totally unexpected stories and regular features (like the "Never Been Seen Before" Round and the "Audience Controls the Performers" round) that will keep you coming back time and again."

Hell on Heels presented by The Spontaneity Shop

An evening of all girl, all comedy, all out mayhem.

Lion & Unicorn Theatre, Kentish Town.

Sorry I didn't advertise this show in time, but it is just as well because it was jam-packed. We had to bring in cushions and even then we had people sitting on the floor around the edges of the stage! It was a fantastic first night for this new monthly show and we thank all those who came and whooped.

Abi, Catherine and Natalie H appeared alongside members of The Spontaneity Shop and a new group - as yet un-named. (Please feel free to email your suggestions and I'll pass them on).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Hen and Chickens and made the shows another sell-out success.

We'll be back at the Hen & Chickens soon. Keep checking for updates or join the Mailing List for all the latest news.

Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th June 2005

After the sell-out success of their March shows, The Undersigned are back at the Hen and Chickens Theatre.

The Undersigned presents Tell Tales

A monologue comedy drama build spontaneously from scratch.  Creating characters inspired by audience suggestions, five brave improvisers will conjure up a new story every night, interweaving lives, loves and human frailties to produce warm, weird, mysterious and hilarious stories that delight and engage audiences every time.  It's not really theatre; it's not really stand-up.  It's not like anything else.
