Twelve separate teams of improvisers from across the capital, ranging from professional performers to first-timers. In each of the two heats, six teams fight for a place in the final where only a single team can earn the right to bear The Improviser’s Cup. This show raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation who in turn grant the wishes of children and young people aged between 3 and 17 living in the UK with life threatening illnesses. So you get a night of great laughs whilst helping to fulfil the dreams of some truly amazing young people, and all for only £5. Funds will be raised from sponsorships of the event, personal sponsorship of players, raffles and donations as well as ticket sales. Lion & Unicorn Theatre, Kentish Town. Sorry I didn't advertise this show in time, but it is just as well because it was jam-packed. We had to bring in cushions and even then we had people sitting on the floor around the edges of the stage! It was a fantastic first night for this new monthly show and we thank all those who came and whooped. Abi, Catherine and Natalie H appeared alongside members of The Spontaneity Shop and a new group - as yet un-named.
